1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to YaysApp’s mobile applications, website, and related services (together, the “Services”). YaysApp is part of the Indexx ecosystem. In this policy, “YaysApp,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the operator of the Services and its affiliates involved in providing them.

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and profile data: name, username, email address, phone number, profile photo, biography, and authentication details.
  • Messages and content: direct and group messages, community posts, comments, reactions, voice notes, photos, videos, files, polls, and other content you create or share.
  • Contacts and invitations: information you choose to provide when finding or inviting people. We request device permission before accessing contacts.
  • Support and feedback: messages, attachments, and other information you send when contacting support or reporting content.
  • Rewards and transaction records: IndexxPoints activity, reward history, wallet balances shown in the app, subscription records, and related transaction identifiers. YaysApp does not ask for or store private wallet keys or seed phrases.
  • Identity and compliance information: where a regulated Indexx feature requires verification, information such as government identification, proof of address, a selfie, and source-of-funds information may be collected by us or a verification provider.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and app data: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, network information, device or installation identifiers, and push-notification tokens.
  • Usage and diagnostics: feature interactions, screens viewed, timestamps, performance data, crash information, and security logs.
  • Communications metadata: sender and recipient identifiers, conversation or community identifiers, delivery status, and timestamps needed to operate messaging. Message contents are handled as described above.

Device permissions

Depending on the features you use, YaysApp may request access to your camera, microphone, photos or files, contacts, Bluetooth devices, and notifications. These permissions support video and voice calls, voice notes, media sharing, finding contacts, headset routing, and notifications. You can change permissions in your device settings.

We do not collect precise GPS location unless a feature clearly requests it and you grant permission.

3. How we use information

  • Provide accounts, messaging, calls, communities, AI tools, rewards, wallet views, and support.
  • Authenticate users, deliver notifications, synchronize activity, and maintain service reliability.
  • Personalize content, connections, community suggestions, and the in-app experience.
  • Calculate and maintain IndexxPoints and other eligible rewards.
  • Detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our rules.
  • Debug, analyze, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Communicate service updates, security notices, support responses, and—where permitted—product news.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

AI features

When you choose to use an AI feature, the prompt and content you submit, together with limited context needed to fulfill your request, may be processed by our AI service providers. We do not send private conversation content to an AI tool unless you invoke the feature or otherwise choose to share that content. Avoid submitting sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in these circumstances:

  • With other users: information and content you choose to post or send is visible to the people or communities you select, subject to your privacy settings.
  • With service providers: vendors supporting cloud hosting, authentication, messaging, notifications, analytics, customer support, content moderation, AI processing, identity verification, and security, under appropriate contractual restrictions.
  • Within the Indexx ecosystem: with affiliated services when needed to provide a feature you request, maintain your account, prevent fraud, or support shared rewards and balances.
  • For legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect users, the public, or the Services.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
  • With your direction: when you ask us to share information or connect a third-party service.

Public blockchain transactions may be permanently visible to others when a feature submits a transaction to a blockchain network.

5. Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit profile information, adjust privacy and notification settings, manage device permissions, leave communities, and delete content where the feature allows.

You can request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information, or object to certain processing, where applicable. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Account deletion: Use Profile → Settings → Delete account in YaysApp, or use our public account deletion page. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Some information may remain where retention is required by law, needed for security and fraud prevention, necessary to resolve disputes, or contained in another user’s copy of a conversation. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted by YaysApp.

6. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it is processed. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably possible.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your credentials and never share a wallet seed phrase or private key with anyone claiming to represent YaysApp.

7. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Higher minimum ages may apply in some regions. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. International data transfers

YaysApp and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Services, law, or our practices. We will post the updated policy here, change the “last updated” date, and provide additional notice when required.
